Amy's Donuts

So much fun! The donuts are pretty tasty and very unique! The kids love visiting every time!

PROS: This place is open 24/7, isn't one of the many copycat donut shops out there, they've got fair and simple pricing, and some of their donuts (from what I've tried) taste amazing. Seriously, give their filled rounds a try!

CONS: The menu options are overwhelming, the donuts aren't always freshly made, and certain things (like the cinnamon roll) fail to wow; even actively disappoint, depending.

I love this business model, and think Amy's Donuts could easily prove to be a 5-star experience with time, after a few recipes have been improved upon. Again though, plenty of these donuts are already 5-star eats. Suffice it to say that those who love filled donuts are going to adore what Amy's brings to the table.

We were amazed at the wide variety of donuts, and delighted by how extremely good they were! They will fill any of the donuts (except those with holes in the middle, like a traditional donut shape) with creams or jellies that you select. We chose Bavarian cream filling and it was perfect — not too sweet, not too heavy. They used a large amount of filling for each donut. The staff were extremely patient with us as we took quite a while to figure out what we wanted, asking many questions about each donuts. They even offered money saving tips in regards to our choices. As I recall, a dozen of the standard donuts is $15, while it doesn't of the specialty ones, including those filled with creams or jellies, is $20. We will definitely be going back.

This place is amazing! They have traditional donuts, but I think people go there for the large variety of unique donuts. Everything we've tried so far has tasted great. It's a fun place for the kids, too, with themed donuts. I won't say anymore; go check it out yourself and enjoy!
