Alden Montessori School

We love this school! Our oldest has been going for 3 years and our youngest for 1 year. They have both progressed academically beyond their age and I have been very satisfied with the caring teachers and staff and am happy to know they are in great hands at this school.

Alden is a warm inviting place to foster your child’s development. I interviewed 10 schools in the area before choosing Alden for my then 2 year old daughter. I was horrified at some of the sights (and smells) in other schools, but the Alden family made me feel more at ease. I now have a son who is also attending Alden and I could not be more pleased with how my children are turning into wonderful humans with their help. The school also fosters opportunities for parents to better embrace the Montessori culture and learn how to be more intuitive parents to their child’s unique needs. I am sold on Montessori for life.

Wonderful school! I have spent lots of time visiting and being involved with my child's class. She is in first grade. The lessons and knowledge shared by the lead teacher is amazing, but what really sells me is the way the children are treated as intelligent people capable of working through issues and understanding more than we (as parents) typically give them credit for. The staff have a level of patience and consciousness that is so rare in the world of education.

First and most important to me as a mommy is my son loves this school. He looks forward to his friends and he is excited about learning. Even when we visit family they are always so impressed with his vocabulary and wide span of interests. My son has attended this school for 3 years and we have been nothing short of pleased. As a parent I could not ask for a better and more supportive school environment.

My two daughters have been going to Alden for almost 3 yrs now. I chose the school because of the Directors, location and curriculum. All of the kids are treated fairly and shown how to be respectful to others. My girls are excited to go to school every day and even want to stay for after care! There's no doubt in my mind that Alden was a great choice for us. I recommend this school to everyone I know!
