I am SO grateful for Dr Larissa! Her compassion, knowledge, holistic mindset, and overall approach to injury recovery and prevention is far beyond what I prayed for when searching for someone to help me continue improving my mobility with erb’s palsy and torticollis on my right side upper body.
I am a firm believer in healing with movement and exercise and wanted to work with someone who had the same valued principles and limitLESS attitude to what’s possible with dedicated and specified work. I found exactly that with Larissa!
In only 3 short months and about a handful of sessions with Larissa (and being faithful to the “homework” she gives me), I have gained DEGREES in range of motion! Not to mention, an increase in muscular control and strength, along with a better understanding and game plan for helpful practices in my daily therapy at home.
I am forever thankful to God for bringing Larissa into my recovery journey! It has already made a WORLD of a difference in abilities both for leisure and work.
Never stop working for improvement!
Dr. Larissa Armstrong-Kager's intent is not on the quick fix. Rather, she has the experience and foresight to know that lifestyle changes are the surest way to fix most issues. I’ve struggled with a lower back issue for years and a quick adjustment was not going to be everything that I needed. Fortunately, Larissa (who is also extremely knowledgeable re: functional exercise) had a very specific plan to begin rehabbing and finally strengthening my problem areas. From my first appointment until now, her “goal” for me has stayed the same - that is, imparting the knowledge that I would need to be able to better know what is going on with my body and how to relieve many of these issues on my own. The goal is not to needlessly keep you in the office. I could not recommend Dr. Armstrong-Kager more highly. A+
I drive 4 hours to see Dr. Armstrong-Kager because she is the only medical professional who has not only provided relief to my injury and me get back to what I love doing, but also helped that relief & mobility STICK.
I tore my shoulder labrum and had surgery to repair it. 2 years later after physical therapy and other shoulder rehab programs, I still did not have full mobility and often had residual aches and pains. I turned to Dr. Armstrong-Kager as I knew she understood my physical activity background and knew the kinds of activities I wanted to be able to do again.
She is extremely attentive and makes sure to always have your goals at the center of your treatment plan.
She is readily available and has made distance treatment so incredibly easy and accessible. We’ve had several impromptu Skype calls when I felt some nagging discomfort and she always makes sure to provide recorded videos of the movements i need so that I always have examples to reference.
She is, in my opinion, the golden standard in her field and is a wonderful person to top it off. If you have physical pain in your life there is not a better human to treat you
Good luck Doc, because I have plenty more “room for improvement” areas beyond my shoulder coming your way!
I appreciate Dr. Armstrong-Kager so much! I’ve seen other doctors with concern over an old nagging ankle issue with no resolve . Dr Armstrong-Kager was able to help alleviate symptoms in my ankle and aid in my overall well being. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and professional. I would highly recommend!
Dr. Larissa is very knowledgeable and she provided me with tools and specified techniques that catered to my ailments. Thanks to her teachings I feel more comfortable with pushing myself during my intense workouts.
Thanks Dr! You're a lifesaver!!!
