I am 7 months post op and I am very happy. Dr. Cantrell literally gave me my life back. I was scared to do anything after a rock climbing sports injury and finally decided to get surgery. Now I think back and ask myself why I didn't do it sooner. He is that good and he is very humble about it.

Come to your appointment with questions because he will not give you the necessary information unless you ask. He was in my room for a full 2.5 minutes today, which is quite a lot for him. He truly needs to relearn his people skills. We want to know what is going on with our bodies and he briefly if at all explains what is going on then quickly leaves the room. I have an appointment in one month but did not know why or what it is about. His very nice nurses and other staff had to explain the reason as to why I am returning to see him. It seems that he only cares about you when you are in for surgery and when you return for surgery. Dr. Cantrell please give us just another minute or two of your time and try to explain in layman’s terms what is going on. Looking at pictures of an MRI does absolutely nothing for me. I am not an orthopedist and therefore can not analyze these images. I hope he and you all will take this information to heart. From information I was given the surgery was “perfect.” I guess I will find out. Thank you

Overall experience was excellent. I had ACL reconstruction surgery and it was the first time I’d had surgery, so I was naturally a bit worried about the process. But from the first appointment with Dr. Cantrell, I could tell that we made a great choice in choosing him to perform the surgery. He was very reassuring, and also confident in himself and his process. What impressed me the most is that he talked about how in the past few years, he’s changed aspects of how he does the surgery and recovery process based on new information and developments (i.e. using a different graft or changing the post-surgery rehab process). It showed me that he’s committed to providing the best possible result/experience for his patients, and is still looking for ways to improve even though he’s very experienced. I absolutely recommend him.

The surgery was a complete success. My range of motion has improved dramatically. I’m able to sleep a full night. Successful on all fronts. Dr. Cantrell did a great job and communicated well throughout the entire process.

Dr Jeffrey Cantrell cares! He is conservative in that he does not jump into surgery. He reviews your condition and allows you to determine the path to take to get to your desired results. I have used him for both my right and left shoulders many years apart. When my left shoulder began to have problems I did not hesitate to call Dr Cantrell because if the excellent care I had received previously. I would highly recommend Dr C to anyone that wants a caring, professional, experienced doctor that will get you great results!
