Salsa Tex-Mex Frisco

I was here the other night and the food was spectacular. There was a cheap family sitting a few tables down - they looked super shady. The old man at the table started complaining about the chicken having a bone in it. It’s chicken, that’s what it has! They called the manager and wanted their food for free. Of course he said no and rightfully so - they’d eaten the ENTIRE plate. The older woman sitting next to him must’ve been his daughter because she was making a fuss trying to score her paw paw a free meal. Everyone continue to eat here. It’s delicious!

Have heard great things and finally got to Salsa Tex-Mex. Busy place so that's a good sign. Quick service. The chips come with 3 little bowls of salsa options. A tasty regular salsa, a green jalapeno? type that was fantastic and black beans with Mole? that was excellent as well.

Chicken fajitas were good, not out of this world. Chicken could have been marinated better but that's the only complaint.
Beef taco salad was delicious. Very fresh and the beef was seasoned well.
Large portions like everyone mentioned so we got togo's and had lunch today.

Service was attentive and helpful. No alcohol so out the door for $30 plus tip.
This place does what I ask of all mid level restaurants. Put your spin on the food. Make it a little more special. They do that and do it well.

Will definitely be back and invite friends.

Great 1st impression for our first visit. We had eaten at the Plano location several times so we made a short road trip for Sunday lunch. We arrived at height of lunch hour but waited only a few minutes. Prompt service and food served very quickly. Popular with friends and family. Portions were large so we got leftovers or come very hungry instead. They have a covered enclosed patio area if you want to eat 'outside' sort of. BTW: chips and 3 types of dip served right away.
