  Will always recommend Hilltop for their kind staff and Dr. Gibbs who has done two surgeries for us and they went well and did a thorough job of explaining how the procedures would go, how they went and what to expect afterwards.

  When my vet was unable to see my dog last summer I was referred to Hilltop Veterinary Hospital and saw Dr Gibbs and he was able to see me that day. This year same scenario and again even though I wasn’t a regular patient they made accommodations to fit us in.
  Was comforting that the staff are all so friendly and making the transition easy. Dr Clark saw my dog and she had been my vet several years ago. Very compassionate and caring.
  
  Highly recommended and plan to continue with this practice.

  We found ourselves at Hilltop because our dog was having a life threatening emergency. I found their info online and they were near us. They were booked for the day but when I told them about my dog’s labored breathing, they told me to come on in right then. They took our buddy back while we waited in the car (COVID safety) and the vet came out to talk to us within just a few minutes. She was kind and relatable and she showed us pictures on her phone of the x rays, explained things thoroughly, and was crystal clear with the cost of everything before doing each procedure. She understood that money can be an issue and is not a reflection of an owner’s love when they can’t afford something. We were lucky enough to be able to afford to do all the testing for our buddy but I was so appreciative of how clearly they communicated each price point. Our buddy was very very sick and and needed a lot of tests and a lot of care and they called us often throughout the days they had him to keep us updated. It was a very emotional time as we waited to hear whether our dog was going to survive. We are still waiting for some test results because his case is complicated. I asked about a million questions and they were so patient with me. They even read the research I found and were willing to run some tests based on the research I found (even though it’s a long shot). They have just been so kind and patient and attentive and thorough with their care. I highly recommend them if you are in need of care for your beloved pet(s).

  They are simply AWESOME! They give you options instead of charging you an arm and leg. They are compassionate, kind and caring. We love your vet!!! Oh and so do the pups!

  Enjoyed our first visit to Hilltop AH this week with our two mini dachshunds. Met with Tory the technician and Dr. Clark. Both were super to work with. Very professional but also casual. The appointment started on time and lasted around an hour. There was no rush and Dr. Clark answered all of our questions. Highly recommend.
  
  They have been in that location for ,any years and are planning to build their own stand alone building in front of their current location (between Food Lion and 401). This will increase their size and capacity.
