  Cody and Mike were great! They were timely, very helpful and professional! They asked what I was looking for and offered several options and price points to help me achieve that desired project. I asked for their suggestions and ideas to help improve my space as well and really liked their ideas. They were able to show me sketches of potential for my space on site as we discussed them. On top of that, they were fun to work with!
  I would highly recommend them!

  MCM did a great job on my pool/patio combo. Very good communication and fast timeline.
  
  MCM came back out 6 months later to fix some stone and replace polysand. They stand by their work.

  McKinley was quick to get to me and give me their valuable time. Kaili was easily reachable there and Cody really brought into focus my vision/ idea for a project. Hoping to work with them in the future.

  Initial Review, May 2021 (Edit below, November 2021)
  
  After having issues with the company we worked with for our front yard hardscape, we were pleased to have our initial meeting with MCM and recognized that they heard our issues and were going to ensure that it didn't happen again. The first several months went great, even in the middle of the crazy freeze and snow in February, but the last month of our 4 month project was awful. Communication was non-existent. When we were told someone would show up to complete a project they either didn't or would show up unannounced several days later.
  
  Our backyard was nearly complete, but the job wasn't done. We had an irrigation sub-contractor come out to finish a job and demanded he be paid on the spot for the work. While he wasn't rude, he was clearly in the dark about what was going on from MCM.
  
  While they reprimanded him and admitted fault, they credited our account $100 which we hadn't asked for, but were grateful nonetheless in trying to fix the situation. Once all projects were finally completed, we received a final invoice for the work. My wife and I both noticed that the $100 promised deduction was not listed, so we contacted them and they said they would get an updated notice back to us.
  
  We then received another notice saying that they went back over the numbers and realized that we owed more money than what was initially listed on our final invoice because of a clerical error on their part. While we understood that mistakes can be made, it was really unprofessional and a poor response after we had so many communication issues, as well as the very last response we ever received from them.
  
  At the end of the day, we love the way everything looks and so do our neighbors and friends who have seen pictures, but when asked who did it all, we tell them we would not recommend McKinley to do anyone's backyard or home remodel.
  
  On 11/2 I received a call from Cody at McKinley out of nowhere and he wanted to apologize for taking so long to respond to our review. He also apologized on behalf of him and the company about how we were treated during our time with them. He then asked if there was anything that they could do to make things right. We came to an agreement that if they would reimburse the money that suddenly showed up on our bill at the last minute, it would go a long way in repairing some good will that they lost at the end of the project. Cody agreed to it and actually drove to our house and handed me a check for the difference. We were blown away as we had heard nothing from them for so long and never had a company reach out to us after a poor review. We are confident and hopeful that the changes they have made in response to our listed concerns allow them to be a fantastic company that does great work. We still love our patio and backyard and are happy to hear they are wanting to do the right thing in the end.

  MCM built my dream covered patio. They even made it bigger then the original plans, by request. Cody and Chris both were professional and patient with me, who didn't know a thing about this build and what it took to get what I wanted. I wasn't always informed on what was happening at the time it was happening but none the less, the job got done. The crews were very nice and worked fast. Both Chris and Cody addressed all my questions and issues and made sure I was happy with everything. Cody was great with ideas and letting me know what would work or not. Believe me, I made many changes as the project was happening and they accommodated them all! Chris worked more the back ground but was very responsive via emails and calls. I had LOTS of questions. He answered them all! I asked to meet a face behind the creation and he made an appearance with Cody on the final walk through. That meant the world to me! They are both as cool as the beards they wear! I had MCM built out my concrete patio to the whole length of the house, a covered patio with electrical, installed fan and TV and also a fire pit area out in the yard.
