I treated my dog Lacie with the Auralsplint after have so much difficulty getting her treatment at the vet. They drained it and then told me the only thing I could do was surgery and they couldn’t get her in for a month. Thankfully, I found Auralsplint online and decided to give it a try. I actually had to use the splint more than once because the first time her ear filled back up again. The second time worked! She tolerated the splint well enough and it was far less traumatic (and expensive) than surgery! I am so thankful that you created this method and made it available to the general public! Thank you!
My dog Chaz received an early version of the aural splint about 5 years ago. The process was fairly simple, with thorough instructions on how to tape the ear to keep the splint secure and tight. It took me a few tries, but Chaz was very tolerant and eventually I got a good fit. His ear never did end up sitting exactly perfect, and there was a *little bit* of cauliflowering as a result of new cartiledge formation. But I firmly believe that the splint worked, and that Chaz's ear ended up WAY better than it otherwise would have. The splint saved him an unnecessary surgery, and largely preserved both function and appearance. Sure, the ear ended up a bit different than on the other side, but it just became part of Chaz's charm. :) I'm grateful for the aural splint, and honestly don't understand why nothing else like it is on the market!
