(September 9, 2022, 3:25 pm)Our son has been here a little over a year now and I can say that I am very comfortable with this facility and staff. We loved our time in Room 6. Mrs. Melissa and Ms Ashley are the best teachers. They really helped mold my son into who he is today. Melissa is a God send of a teacher and we wish she could move up with us every class! They create a safe environment for friends and family and throw some of the best parties. We are happy to be apart of this facility. Management really helps meet any concerns and always send updates via email of any facility issues. I appreciate their constant updates and communication.
(July 20, 2022, 3:39 pm)My daughter has attended Oak Point Children’s Lighthouse for over 2 years. It’s been a great experience for her as well as my husband and I. She loves waking up every weekday morning excited to see her teachers and fellow classmates. She’s built quite the relationship with both. The front office is prompt and always follows the correct protocol in any incident. Our child has been safe through this pandemic. Our son who attends Oak Point Elementary does participate in the before and after school care offered during the academic school year. He enjoys the childcare the the setting that facility offers. The Flintroy family highly recommends Oak Point Children’s Lighthouse.
(June 26, 2022, 1:19 pm)We love taking our daughter here. The teachers are nice, they take lots of pictures, teach the kids a lot of new things and have weekly events. They keep you updated with classroom issues, for example if there is a child with Covid or any other problem. They have appreciation days for teachers and parents alike as well. My daughter loves the weekly splash pad time they have. I highly recommend this location if you live in the Oak Point area.
(June 23, 2022, 1:38 pm)There is no greater piece of mind than knowing your child is safe and well taken care of in your absence. I am happy to have that each time I leave my daughter in the care of the team at Children's Lighthouse of Oak Point. The Center Leadership and their classroom Teachers have always been welcoming and competent in caring for the little minds they are entrusted with each day. The communication with parents on daily activities or notice of information is always timely and professional. The classroom curriculum is appropriate and fun! I can truly see the growth and development in my child's learning. In short, they care about your kid(s), and it shows.
(June 9, 2022, 1:51 pm)I have so much love and respect for the teachers and staff here. My son has attended this center for the past few years and he loves it! I am always in awe when he comes home saying new Spanish words and showing his sister how to do the alphabet in sign language.😌
I appreciate all the teachers he has had, but I especially appreciate his current room 9 teachers. They have wonderful communication and they are so patient and loving.
Raising children isn’t easy. Raising and teaching entire classrooms full of young children— with very different personalities, strengths & needs—can be extremely challenging. It takes a heightened sense of awareness to understand how challenging their jobs can be some days.
Too often teachers are under appreciated— frankly, underpaid—considering the emotional drainage they can experience. We cannot forget that WE need teachers, and all they need is our support, encouragement & grace.
Love, compassion and grace are the answers, for all things. Thank you so much, Children’s Lighthouse! You all represent the love that our world needs more of. ♥️
