If you’re looking for a church home that really digs deep and unabashedly teaches God’s Word, then look no further than Metro Bible Church! Pastor Rodney Brown is an incredible theologian who is truly gifted in teaching. The goal here is to live out the command to love God, love others, and to make disciples. This is not a sit on the back row and hope no one notices you type of church. This is a body of believers who gather to worship, grow in the knowledge of Christ, love and encourage one another, and have sweet fellowship. I am saddened that I no longer live in the area and can’t attend in person. Thankfully, every sermon is now online but it doesn’t match up to meeting in person regularly. (Especially during the monthly potluck suppers!) As we move closer to what seems like end times, it is so refreshing to hear TRUTH that is not editorialized, watered down or politically correct. Metro Bible Church is not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ! Awesome place!!! Wonderful people!!
Rodney Brown (pastor of Metro Bible) is a faithful and great expositor of God's Word! He loves the Word of God and he loves the local church. Not only does he love the local church but he has given endless hours to help extend the gospel to other cultures such as the Spanish speaking world to the point that he has trained himself to preach in Spanish. At Metro Bible you will be well fed and challenged to live as a disciple of Jesus Christ.
I am very grateful for my church family at Metro Bible Church.
The love and true fellowship has been such a blessing to me and my family.
The sound doctrine and a congregation that walks out their faith gladly are part of the fabric of Metro Bible.
Truly, on a daily basis, I thank God for Metro Bible Church.
My wife and I have been members at metro Bible for over 2 years now and am so thankful for this church body! I am thankful for its exegetical preaching and devotion to shepherding. We are thankful that Metro’s leadership chooses to disciple its its people in the love of Christ. Metro’s discipleship of me and my family has been full of wisdom, grace, and compassion, pressing us onward to Christ likeness, amidst a world that chooses self over Christ, all for Gods glory!
There are many reasons behind my love for Metro Bible Church. If I were post a list of them here, it would contain things like Biblically sound preaching and teaching, wonderful fellowship of believers, the love and care that members have for one another, and the ministry opportunities that are available to members. But, behind all those factors, there is one heart-throbbing reason that fills this old man with a "spiritual energy" that he has never felt so strongly before. Metro is a church that is completely determined to reflect the image of Our Lord Jesus Christ to the world. It's not an entertainment center to visit on the occasional Sunday. It's not a "come and get a good feeling" church. It's not an "I'm OK and you're OK" type of church. Rather, it's a group of believers who, out of gratitude and devotion to their Lord and Savior, are determined to live life together in a way that demonstrates to the world the love, mercy, grace and righteousness of Jesus Christ.
