Anywhere But Here Travel, Inc.

We wanted help on planning & arranging a long trip in our truck with a camper in the bed.  Cara of Anywhere But Here Travel did an absolutely fantastic, great job!  The trip ended up as 46 days, but it had everything that we asked for and more.  She found extra places that were just the kind that we had been looking for.  We are interested in hot springs, and she found four (4) for us, all of which were very good.  We're interested in steam trains, and she arranged rides for us on the Cumbres & Toltec (on the Colorado-Arizona state line) and the Royal Gorge railroads.  She found several places to do off-road driving (hey, it's a 4 -wheel drive truck, what do you expect?), including 1 that was almost too exciting for us.  She planned extra time where we had mentioned that we had family or friends in the area.  She arranged that none of the days had TOO much driving in them although 1 day was pretty long because we kept stopping to look at cool stuff! 

The only problem was that the weather was not always great.  We had planned to spend 4 days in New Orleans, but Hurricane Ida came through just then, knocking out the power and closing everything down. She got our money back from the hotel, and took care of all the arrangements.  

She found and made reservations at excellent places to see and do things, and very comfortable places to stop for the night.  There was always a phone number to call for help, in case there were any problems.

ABH planned my Birthday trip to Puerto Vallarta and it was simply amazing. Thank you for supplying all the little details I normally would not even think of, such as setting up a transfer from the airport to my hotel. I also took the suggestion of staying at an airport hotel the night before my departure. I live north of Seattle and getting to the airport for an eight am flight would have been challenging. At the suggestion of ABH they booked me a room close to the airport, so I was fully rested and ready for my non-stop flight to PVR.

THANK YOU. I know the pandemic has been hard on your profession, and I appreciate all your efforts to keep me informed of the, almost daily changes to COVID-19 policies, prior to and during my travel.

Monica did an exceptional job planning our trip to Hawaii. She was very thorough and detailed, providing many opportunities to add fun into our vacation. Also, when one of our excursions was cancelled last minute, Monica was there to help us explore other options. She was also very helpful in navigating the COVID testing required by the state and what to expect. I highly recomment Anywhere But Here Travel.

I recently planned a short trip for my wife and myself to Victoria BC. I have never been and it was a surprise for my wife's birthday so I wanted it to be special. I have never used a travel agency before and was unsure what to expect.

I wanted to be able to say "Here is where we want to travel, here are the dates, what can you make happen for us?" .. I was not disappointed, It was literally that simple. Virginia, my agent, asked a few personal questions to get an idea towards our personalities and what we enjoy and that was it. She checked in with me multiple times to make sure time lines & activities would suite our traveling behavior and sent me the appropriate booking info. I can't begin to tell you how much this helped take the pressure off. My wife and I had a great time with a well planned vacation. I can't wait for our next trip, if Anywhere But Here Travel could make a 2 day trip to Victoria as special as it was, imagine what they could do with a larger trip!
