TMC Bonham Hospital Emergency Room

Bohnam ER is amazing! Fast, professional and compassionate care! Provider and nurse listened, took their time and provided excellent care! They went above and beyond, providing a loading dose of medications in a couple of shots so I could get immediate relief 🥰🥰

I am absolutely blown away as to how well we were treated here! Everyone kept saying "go elsewhere." I'm SSSOOOO glad we didn't. The Dr in the ER was so knowledgeable, so respectful and there was no dumb question in his eyes. He was very through with explaining everything. I am seriously so blown away. 10/10 recommend. The staff was amazing from the front desk, to the nurses all the way to the x-ray/CT techs.

Broken ribs, broken scapula, bruised lung and tore spleen. He knew about it all and was fully able to educate us! Major difference in UTHealth Tyler vs here in little ol' Bonham! The staff has fully earned my trust.

Second entry to hospital review:
I would like to review two areas of tha hospital. First, the facility, which is nothing to brag about. But, we are lucky to have a hospital, as many towns this size are not so fortunate.

The second area to review is the staff. My mother was on the second floor, and she was very pleased with The care she received. I was able to be there with her, and I observed nurses who were caring and professional in the care of my mother. Dr. Shah was very thorough in making sure the injuries were what they appeared, and not a result of her underlying heart condition. And, he made her laugh often, which is good medicine. She so appreciated Brownwen, Holly, Will, and Monica, the nurses who provided excellent care. I’m sorry if I leave anyone out. Many thanks to all the staff who helped us. Every job is important!

There are hospitals that are maybe higher rated, newer and have a larger staff. But, I observed a desire of all those with whom I came in contact to build a better place for all to receive care. They are trying hard to make our hospital the best it can be. They work long hard hours, but we could tell my mother’s wellbeing was their concern. She was only one person on that floor. Thank you to all the staff at TMC Bonham!
