This is a very special place. I left with a subtle peace in my heart that is slowly changing me. I came to slow down, rest, and learn. That is indeed what happened. My journey is just beginning.
Go with an open heart and open mind. Enjoy the quiet. Take in the lessons. Eat the delicious fresh food. Wander the land and the tirths with with a peaceful curiosity and have it added back to your soul double.
I will return again and again. ❤️
I visited for a 3 day personal silent retreat. I stayed in the cedar room. It was my first significant exposure to Jainism and my first silent retreat experience.
I cannot say enough positive about Siddhayatan and the people there. The accommodations were exactly as promise, clean simple and comfortable. The food was wonderful served exactly on schedule.
The grounds are lovely and available for you to roam. Whatever inner purpose can be sought here.
I felt such a strong non judgmental spirit there from everyone I encountered.
I have to mention one long term resident by name. If you attend, I hope you spend as much time in Ruiz’s presence as you can. He has such a kind, gentle and generous spirit. I was blessed by his meal service, his yoga instruction, and his fire building. But more than that by watching him as he labored on projects and tasks. Ruiz is the kind of human you want to be around always.
I hope I return here soon.
A wonderful ashram (place of spiritual learning)! First time visitor for the Discover Yourself Retreat. Just after three days, my heart is lighter and my soul is energized. The program helped me discover, not only more about who I am, but also how to develop higher qualities of my being. I have learned breathing techniques and a non-violence way of life.
If you find yourself asking existential questions, you may want to stay here and Acharya Shree Yogeesh and company can guide you into the light.
Jai Siddhatma!
I came to this spiritual retreat after a major life change. I selected the silent retreat and stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. It was a wonderful experience in part because of the vast landscape and the monks. The monks, especially Sadhvi Anubhuti, were very accommodating and I never felt pressure to attend courses or workshops. I did participate in some mantras and meditation. I fasted so I can not speak to the vegetarian cuisine but I do plan to go back in the summer and may try the cuisine at that time. I recommend this retreat to anyone (regardless of your religion) who wants to relax, reflect, and heal.
I came here thinking I just needed a break from my busy life but left with so much more. I highly recommend the Purnam Yoga workshop, I learned so much from Sadhvi Anubhuti and plan to continue my path to self-discovery with these new tools I learned from her. It allowed me to breathe deeper and enhance my meditation sessions. Also everyone is extremely welcoming, including the volunteers. Luis gave a wonderful yoga session in the morning that allowed me to let go and relax. Oh and can’t forget about the food, the vegetarian meals are absolutely delicious. I will definitely be coming back and recommend this beautiful place as a sanctuary for anyone looking to get away, connect with yourself, improve your wellness, or further your spirituality.
