“We have two children at Southminster School, one in elementary and one in preschool. We had planned to send our kids to public school for elementary but fell in love with the Southminster environment and decided that it was worth paying for our kids to attend a small school in which teachers at all grade levels have name familiarity with students at all grade levels, classes are small and diverse, testing isn't an overwhelming force/anxiety, creativity and love of learning are cheerfully fostered, and, while preschool teaches academics, they also focus appropriately on necessary social skills. The entire staff, from Serafino (building maintenance) to Mrs. Pennix (head of school), work to make their school a kind and welcoming place. I was recently volunteering with another parent when the principal, leading parents on a tour, walked in. Mrs. Pennix finished what she was saying, introduced us, and proceeded to accurately list off the grade levels of our kids - seven in all, including two from the other family who have moved on from the school. That is amazing attention to detail and, when the detail is your kid(s), it makes a difference.”

She was my Dr. in Flower Mound for 3-4 years and I will miss her tremendously but know she will do great in her new office. “Really good drinks! I paid about $35 for 4 drinks and 3 food items, so I would call that pretty good pricing. I got the Island green drink without kale (I didn't know if I would taste it or not, but I chose to take it out) and it tasted amazing. I kid you not, I'd probably only order that from there. They have many other great options, but that's my favorite. The popcorn chicken and Chicken sandwiches were really good too. The seating is kinda cramped but that's not a huge issue.”

“My daughters love the new gym! Olympia has the best location and I love the huge open space. The coaches are great as well. We’ve also taken advantage of the “extra” stuff like tumbling clinics, fright fest and preschool play dates and the kids had a blast! Definitely recommend!”
