This restaurant adapted well to the pandemic and carefully lets people dine in with masks on. This restaurant has a smaller large space. The service was fast and the owner was nice. The food is fresh and delicious. The portions are large for the price. I got a full meal for 6 to 7 dollars. The menu includes a large selection of authentic food. My fried pork chop meal was amazing.
May 2021 update: Google tells me my first review was only 8mo ago but it seems longer bc of how our relationship with Mama Wu has grown. She has become like family. Favorites are consistently the fish and the pork belly but we'll get the other dishes from time to time too (we've tried them all by now). They have gone up a dollar but it's still such a good price we don't mind. Plus, with the price increase, they've added a couple vegetables to each box and the veggies vary from day to day. It's a fun surprise and they're all yummy.

We got food here for the first time yesterday and came back today to try more things. The food is delicious, Taiwanese style bento boxes-- rice on the bottom, meat and veggies on top, a couple slices of the Taiwanese sausage, plus a tea egg. We've had the pork belly, the soy-braised pork chop, and the fish fillet. They were all good! I liked the pork chop the most, my husband liked the pork belly the most, but I would certainly but any of those three again. I don't think I'll be getting the Taiwanese sausage or the meat balls (on the "street food" side of the menu) again though because it was probably not worth the money. $2 for a single sausage or for small frozen meatballs (heat up yourself).
Overall-- would definitely go again to get the bento boxes! Well priced, delicious food.
They never answer phone calls during business hour.
My parents like their “railroad lunch box” (I like it too). Getting them for everyone in the family.
Typical Taiwanist tastes.. if you want having authentic one.
