I thought my 1936 Ford was not charging they checked it all out two different people for a second opinion and came to the conclusion that it is charging 5 didn't charge me anything very nice people I told them I would come back if I had any further questions 4 problems

The mechanic I hired advised me my alternator was trash and I should have him replace at over $800.00, others at the marina suggested I just take off and drive over to A-Alternators and have them look it over and if needed to rebuild. Drove over and they tested and gave it a clean bill of health, turns out it was a bad connection which the "Mechanic" should have known.

Don't buy a new, used, or rebuilt alternator or starter, take it here and have it rebuilt for you. It will save you money and the owner is high character and has been doing this for decades! It cost me more for a mechanic to have my alternator removed and reinstalled than it did to have it rebuilt! Drop it off in the morning and pick it up about lunchtime, you will think it's a brand new one. Rewired, new brushes and bearings, sandblasted, painted, and tested for quality control. I was impressed with the work, prices, and time it took. Got to visit with the owner, an ex-police officer, and was impressed again with his character. If he tells you something you can bank on it! It's somewhat difficult to find honest people in the auto services industry, when you do, you stick with them as long as possible. I will use his services and refer him as long as he operates.
