“Nice place to eat after a trip to Galveston Island State Park! Our group, including several children, were able to get meals that pleased everyone for a low price. The only thing we might have changed is to have the bathroom better maintained; understandably this might be challenging given the location along the seawall, since there are few public restroom facilities near the beach. We enjoyed being able to park facing the beach while we ate our meals, watching people play on the beach and in the water.”

The property is well maintained, pool clean, and the room met our needs. Beds were not the most comfortable, but we were not there to sleep anyways!”

“First time eating at Tortuga's. We found the service excellent and the food similar. We ended up eating there twice in one day, lunch and supper, due to convenience to our hotel. Highly recommend this location. Beware: at busy time of the evening, there may be a significant wait time of 30 min but they do have an open bar seating arrangement.”

She is very polite and efficient, not only to solve my toothache, but also to pull out my wisdom tooth skillfully-- probably within 2 minutes, but most likely within 1 minutes, or even 30 seconds. During and after my surgeon for one month, I even did not have any pain feeling.”

“Great location and decent rooms. Walls are paper thin so keep that in mind. They give you a paper with all the rules and codes for the pools. There are 2 very nice size pools. The heated one are the pictures. They also have a separate area for 2 big hot tubs. I also liked that it was gated.”
