(July 1, 2019, 11:24 pm)Food was fantastic. I love it when you can eat a burger without everything falling out onto your plate. Had the buffalo fries, which were good as well. Only complaint would be the time it took for our food to arrive. Place definitely wasn't super busy, but we waited like 30 minutes for 2 burgers and 1 order of fries. All in all, I would probably eat there again.
(June 30, 2019, 1:53 pm)This is one of those weird burger places that serve eccentric food, except this establishment has more than the gimmick to work off of. Chelsea, our server, was to the point without being rude and was genuinely informative. The owner himself even checked up on us as if we were long time friends, a rarity in most stuffy local joints. This is the pinnacle of what a local joint should strive for: fresh food, friendly atmosphere, fantastic service, what more could you ask for?
(June 28, 2019, 6:20 pm)I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and it was awesome! Hubby got the sticky monkey (it has chunky peanutbutter and grilled bananas on it) and he enjoyed it. The grilled cheese (thick on cheese!) and plain cheeseburger were pretty good as well. The drinks were really good. The waitstaff were great as well, our waitress was very personable and gave us great suggestions.
(June 19, 2019, 5:13 pm)This place is soo good. Met with the owner and she was extremely welcoming. She told me that her and her husband just took over the place. Good burger and fries. Not overly priced at all. I will be back on if I’m in the area.
(June 7, 2019, 10:54 pm)In town visiting and just happened to see this place and decided to give it a try. So glad we did! One of the best burgers I have had. We had a large group and the service was quick. The lady that took our order was very nice and welcoming. The decor is fun and relaxing all in one. Would definitely return if we are back this way!

We ordered a philly cheese steak burger, but unfortunately they had run out of steak, so The Hubcap Grill is located in the historic strand in Galveston and the architecture in the area is amazing!
