“*Disclosure: When I first moved to Driftwood, it had different management. In fall of 2017, new management came in. My experience that I share is about the new management. Any reviews before fall of 2017....probably accurate as that management was not very good. This complex is absolutely amazing! I have lived in a 2 bed/2 bath and a single 1 bed/1 bath. I loved them both. I was a student at UTMB and stayed for 16 months. The rooms are nicely updated and the complex is clean. The parking lot has many drains so it never floods (not even during Hurricane Harvey!). The staff is incredible. I can be shy at times, but everyone there is so friendly and treats every client like family. They hold special events like luncheons and have dog treats in the leasing office. At Christmas time they had a gift-wrapping station! Everything you needed for gift wrapping they had it for you to use whenever you needed, for free! These apartments are very affordable, especially for being SO close to the beach (basically across the street). Plus, it's also right across the street from Wal Mart, which is also very convenient. I couldn't recommend this apartment more, definitely would live there again if I moved to Galveston again.”

“Owner is easy to work with. The house is nice and just a few minutes' walk to the beach. We had a small mechanical issue when we arrived, and within an hour of calling the owner had a repair worker at the house--problem solved. The house is nicely furnished and comfortable, with a nice deck and also a great covered area on the ground level. I would definitely rent this home again.”

“This beautiful oceanfront condo is our favorite place to stay in Galveston. The location is perfect. The view is a totally unobstructed, gorgeous ocean view! We love to sit on the balcony and listen to the waves, that's how we start our day and usually end our day. Babe's Beach is directly across Seawall and the owners of the condo have chairs and beach toys in the condo for our use (so easy!!) The condo has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The master bedroom has a balcony that faces the ocean. The furniture is updated and comfy and the kitchen is perfect for preparing a great meal. Bedrooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The condo is clean and very quiet. The complex is in a great location and close to all the wonderful restaurants on Seawall! The owners of this unit have another unit at By the Sea, so be sure to check availability for both units when you come to Galveston. It is our first choice in rentals BY FAR!! Owners are a pleasure to deal with and very responsive. We love these condos!!”

“We had some issues booking but this location fixed all our issues. It was great to stay here. We could see the ocean from our room and it had everything we needed to cook food. The a.c. worked great. It was a short walk to the beach and it was never very busy since it has a private entrance and not many others walked down to the same section. Thank you seascape!”
