Kayak Shack

We had a great time at the Kayak Shack! The owners are awesome and accommodating, they truly care about their customers and their experience! Good crew, good shop and great location with some nice views.

I had a great experience at Kayak Shack! It was my first time kayaking and the owners explained everything throughly to make my experience fun and safe! I went on the island tour and nature tour. You can even bring your dog along as long as they have a life jacket! We will definitely be back!

We had a group of 24 women who went kayaking together at the Kayak Shack on June 29. This was our second time to go there. The first was a morning tour in May and this last one was a sunset tour. We had such a wonderful time and enjoyed it very much. The owner, Chris Orru, is very kind and courteous and made our visit a pleasant one. He is well equipped for everyone to have a safe and enjoyable experience on the water.

They were so accommodating! W head a great time, and they were so helpful in prepping us for our ride and helping us out once we got back! Very kind and welcoming! Would love to come back next time we’re in town! Highly recommend for a day date, a family outing (with tandem kayaks) or a party!
You have 3 different loop options- we tried 2 different ones the hour we paid for— Beginner’s Loop and Nature Loop! Perfect combo of views!

First time kayaking, great experience, we had a blast, really nice place and owner is super helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely be back again. Also, when you there, make sure to get some coffee, he roasts it in the house and it’s GOOD!
