So much fun! Took lots of pictures and had a blast learning all about the rich history of Goliad. Such a fun little town, and the park rangers were equally kind! Thanks for a great experience
Many cultures, one Texas. Visiting this historic site is worth a visit when in the area. Learn about the native Americans, Spanish explorers and missionaries in southeast Texas. It’s a small park and learned tons of facts on our visit. If anything it’s a great place to take pictures.
What a great state park! Based around the historic mission and other historic structures. You are able walk in short distance the mission, the river, the Presidio bahia, Fannin memorial, and birthday place of Zaragoza and the small town of Goliad. Good space between sites.
Beautiful park with lots to do! The park workers were very friendly & informative. The bathrooms were like any typical state park bathroom. Bugs are in there of course, but the restrooms are decently clean. The RV sites were easy to get into with lots of space.
Only showed up for the day, beautiful place for a hike. Only downside was it had been raining recently so the river-side trail was far too muddy to go all the way. The other smaller trail was still good to explore, however. Make sure you keep track of the weather if you are coming.
