Meadowmere Park

Great place to visit if you miss the beach. $5 gets you in for the whole day. Fun place to have a picnic and rent kayaks too

This is a genius idea! Great way to wear the kids out and they have a blast doing it at the same time. They have 2 different obstacle courses, one is for the smaller kids and then one for everyone else. I personally didn't care too much for it but my kids absolutely loved and can't wait to come back.

Good place to bring the kids! Bring food to grill and drinks... there are nice bathrooms here as well as places to out your tent up and go camping 🏕 right next to the water and behind a guarded post which makes you feel a little safer camping...

I love camping at this park! The area is beautiful, it’s very peaceful here, and it’s close to the city if you need food, supplies, etc. $35 per night to camp. The showers are clean and spacious.

Entrance fee per Vehicle $5, can't beat that. My family had a great time at this lake. It's April so the water is still pretty cold, however, that did not stop my kids from swimming. The staff was very hospitable. I didn't catch the gentleman's name that worked there, but he stopped by our area and told us the good areas to go fishing. Which means this place is also great for fishing. I took the kayak out to throw my line in the water but the water was way too choppy. Anyway, that won't stop us from coming back. Love this little area. See you all again soon.
