I have had nothing but an incredible experience with Mudpies and Lullabies! My son was located at a different daycare previously and it is night and day difference. Even though my son is only 6 months old, you can tell he is geniuenly happy (much different from the previous care he was receiving).
I also have peice of mind with all of the updates and cute photos I receive throughout the day. You can tell that his care givers truly care and love him. I would not want him anywhere else.
I strongly urge you to consider Mudpies and Lullabies for your baby's care needs. :)
The reviews are super confusing, it seems like a lot of them are wrong location (since there are 3) or bitterness from not being accepted in since there is waitlists for some classes!
This might be lengthy but it’s worth a read if you’re trying to find a school for your baby!
I work from home & always have since my daughter was born. I noticed her desire for wanting to play with children her age when she turned 3. She would always ask to go to school but my Husband and I were in no way ready for her to go to anything where we weren’t there watching her. After moving to Grayson County in September of 2022, I realized she needed to be in a children’s environment due to no longer being close to her cousins. I did intensive research looking for a good enough school. I woke up in the middle of the night thinking about reviews and trying to find the perfect school. I came across Mudpies and Lullabies, but unfortunately there was a waitlist for her age group. I was so bummed as this school seemed PERFECT for my daughter. I called about 3 weeks later and boom there was the opening as one kiddo left the school for summer. My daughter was so excited BUT so nervous as again, she had never been away from family for longer than 10 minutes. We went to tour the school and meet her teacher and my daughter was in a horrible mood that day and cried screaming “I do not want to go to school”. That amped my nerves even more thinking how horrible this was going to go, as she started the very next day. I took her to her first day & she was sooo nervous and very timid walking in. Mrs. Brooke grabbed her by the hand (after her hiding behind me for 15 mins) and told her they were just about to go outside and play on the playground if she wanted to come. I snuck away & watched her from the gate as this school has an open door policy and parents are able to pop in and out WHENEVER. I watched the cameras like a hawk (another plus!) all day long and saw her completely enjoying herself and playing with friends. When I went to go pick her up she did not want to leave, there were lots of tears as she said she had so much fun and loved her friends & teacher. Fast forward to starting a new year with a new teacher (same first day jitters from both of us) and my daughter cried on the first day because she wanted to stay the night at school lol.
If you do research on THIS location you will see the teachers care for their students and love their jobs. I always look through the glass for each class and rarely do I see students not be watched or crying.
I’m so blessed to have found this school and I’m so thankful this was the experience my daughter received!
