Hoodoo Sports

I had to write a review and let everyone know that Hoodoo Sports has been amazing in my experience! We live in SW Florida and were devastated by Hurricane Ian - our only way in and out to our house was by boat…before the hurricane we had already ordered a couple of Hero 130’s - and their shipping was delayed because of all of the damaged roads in the area. We desperately needed them in order to get in and out and start our rebuild before bridges were accessible - and the owner (Chris) was very gracious with shipping and re-shipping our items when they would get returned, changing shipping addresses to a non-affected area, etc. Since receiving the Hero 130’s, we’ve really put them through their paces and use them at least twice a day - fishing, transportation, sunrises, sunsets, etc. - and they have been extremely reliable and great versatile machines. We can’t say enough to thank Hoodoo for helping us out so much and to compliment the quality of their mini skiffs - what a blast on the water and what a way to reel in the big fish!

Absolutely love my impulse 120. For the price you can’t beat it, it comes with the pod and the pedal drive system and it won’t break the bank. The customer service team is very informative and helpful if you have issues. The wide platform makes it very stable and spacious. There is ton of storage compartments for all your fishing gear and valuables. I plan on having the tempest one day also. It’s just all around a great kayak and company.

The kayaks are amazing. I have had the tempest 120p for 2 years and the impulse 120 for 1 year. Both kayaks have been used in multiple kayak bass fishing tournament series and heavily abused. They are beasts. The company itself has unmatched customer service and the owners are very personable. It is clear they not only care about their customers but they care about the kayaking community and charity as well. I have seen them donate coolers, kayaks, and gear to many different events. 10/10 from me. Love this company.
