MK Events

MK Events was great! We hired them for our wedding. They were always very responsive and worked with any last minute changes I asked for. I was able to fully customize my flowers and stay within my budget.

My husband and I got married in May 2020, when COVID was at its height. We weren't able to have a reception - our ceremony consisted of our immediate families, the minister, and Melanie, who provided beautiful flowers for my bouquet and for what few decorations we had. So when we were finally able to host our reception two years later, we knew we had to get her help again!

Melanie absolutely went above and beyond for our reception. She assembled a beautiful bouquet for me, a boutonnière for my husband, and several large bouquets set in vases around the venue hall. She even scattered flowers and greenery on the tables with our other decorations!

But she did so much more than just flowers. She helped set up our sign-in table and all our decorations, floral or otherwise, before the reception started. She arranged and managed a beautiful spread of fresh fruits, vegetables, and cheese and crackers for all our guests. (See the picture of the pineapple tree for an idea of how amazing it all looked!) She kept things moving during the reception and made sure everyone knew when things were happening. She even made sure that our guests with food allergies got their special snacks with no cross-contamination. She was honestly the glue that held our reception together.

I highly recommend Melanie and MK Events for just about any event you're hosting! She will absolutely knock it out of the park.

Melanie, and the whole MK Events crew, I can't thank you enough for the beautiful flowers for my daughter’s wedding. They were absolutely amazing!! I received so many compliments from people remarking how gorgeous they were. Several people (myself included originally) said they were worried when they heard my daughter was using purple, but when they saw the flowers, it was just breathtaking. Your input at the decorating meeting at the venue was invaluable. Your floral touches were the details that took the wedding from pretty to stunning. I wish I had more photos to post, but we are still waiting on the professional ones. I just quickly snapped these with my phone. Thank you for all your hard work!! The wedding was beyond her dreams, and your flowers were such a huge part of that.

Melanie has done it again! After she made my wedding an absolute dream, I walked, no, I RAN, to her for help on a very ✨groovy✨ flower power baby shower I was planning for a dear friend. Needless to say, the florals were next level and I’m still getting compliments from baby shower guests a week later! MKevents knows what they are doing and can make any idea for an event that much better!🌸🌺🌼💐🌻

Melanie did an AMAZING JOB helping me decorate and plan for a private wedding proposal for my fiancée. I contacted Melanie about 9 days out from the planned event, really needing some expert help on how to make my initial conceptual ideas become a reality. Melanie went above and beyond to help me out when I needed her the most. On the day I first established contact with her, she even FaceTimed me late that evening at the planned proposal venue so that we could get an idea of the layout she had to work with. Her communication and execution from start to finish was impeccable. The end result was even better than what I planned or envisioned for . Melanie and her team was a god send for me. I would recommend her with the highest regard to any potential client!
