“I have known people who have gone to this church for a long time and said it was a good church, but I didn't get my first taste of the Ark until June of 2017. I was coming to a new season in my life, where it was time to change churches. A pastor friend that I respect tipped me off to the night of worship they have every second Wednesday of the month. I had just exited the church I was attending before it ended on a Wednesday night in June, feeling distraught about some personal issues in my life, and wanted to just go home. Holy Spirit reminded me of the Night of Worship that was going on that night as I was driving. I went to the service. The presence of the Lord hit me as soon as I got through the entry doors. I was thoroughly welcomed there by a musical friend named Gabe that I had met a few months prior to the service at a music store, plus a few other people who where there. I immediately changed churches, and didn't look back. Over a year and a half has passed, and I haven't gone to any other church on a Sunday morning since. Pastor Goodluck and his wife Angela are wonderful shepherds with extensive and convicting knowledge of the Word. The people there have loved me through some of the worst parts of my life, and I thank them for that. The outreach and ministry programs are top-notch. The services are orderly. The Holy Spirit definitely moves there. The messages are convicting and confirmed with miracles following. The worship is really good. You can really tell they worship in Spirit and truth. I say that knowing I work with them every Sunday morning now. This is one of the very few churches in Houston that I would highly recommend. Check it out! You're gonna love it.”
