(March 22, 2018, 11:30 pm)Stumbled upon this small plot of land on a walk in the park, which has a deep feel of history, mystery, and awe. An original settlement of German immigrants lie here, and founded the Bear Creek area years ago. A quick walk from the main park road in Cullen Park, the fenced in grounds are surrounded by Spanish Moss trees. It’s a nice place to honor those who settled the area in what is now a reservoir, and appreciate the uniqueness of it.
