SUN Behavioral Houston

This is a really good place. I have had great experience here. The managment was real good to me. Staff very friendly on the second floor.

I was referred to SUN by my primary care physician due to depression and mood swings. The program was wonderful, the staff caring and professional. Working with patients with mental health issues has to be stressful but everyone I interfaced with was calm, caring, and thoughtful. I appreciated that
I did not just get meds to make me feel better but worked with therapists to address the issues I was having and ways to cope day to day. I am happy to say I am a thousand times better and I attribute that directly to my care at SUN. I would recommend this facility to anyone who is seeking treatment.

I am an RN and have worked in mental health for over 10 years. This is the BEST facility! Very team-oriented, supervisors and administrators are readily available to assist, and staffing is great! I feel safe working here and have the resources to provide excellent patient care. Patients are a priority here and it shows.

I've been to quite a few psychiatric hospitals in the Houston area and this is hands down the best one. You can tell that the staff really cares about what they're doing and the patients that are there. Everytime I've been they've been nothing but helpful. They have helpful and thoughtful groups throughout most of the day and it's just a very positive atmosphere. Every now and then you'll find a bad apple, but as a whole they really are solving unmet needs.
