(September 13, 2019, 10:28 pm)I really liked this place. As a Japanese person, it tastes like old fashion yakitori place you find in Japan. It's pretty tucked away and a cute little gem. The place did have an odd smell, but it was cleaning supplies that I smelt, so I knew this place was clean. The skewers taste was spot on. I know this place has weird up and down reviews, but all places will. I really enjoyed this place. Will come back again!
(July 31, 2019, 9:45 pm)So delicious!!! I can't wait to come back and try more. We got all the chicken thigh skewers and beef and pork belly. Very authentic, very simple and very yummy.

(713) 334-5464. The closest thing to an actual yakitori den I've experienced in Houston (I've had my share of yakitori experiences in Fukkuoka, Tokyo) . All food are the soul food for me as Japanese! We went to Yakitori Gunso last week and I am so excited to have an authentic yakitori place nearby!
