Been dancing at the main campus in Houston for 4 years until they opened one near me. They teachers are strict but it helps more than being super nice. Teaching methods are very good. I have danced at J and H for 8 years now! It’s like a home to me. Best studio ever!
Teachers are strict but for the purpose of the student's personal growth, which is better for us students in the long run for improvement. JH is an amazing school with motivated classmates and teachers that provide countless opportunities for stage performances and experiences.
My daughter comes to dance here on the weekends. She's a beginner and I like the fact that the instructor is strict but nice. I also like that she is exposed to English and Chinese during class. The dancing style is a mix of Chinese style movements and ballet. My only comment is the waiting room for parents could be improved.
