(May 18, 2022, 10:46 pm)Ms. Irene is knowledgeable, professional, patient, kind and everything I think a hair stylist should be. Her shop is inviting and comfortable especially for kid clients, one client serviced at a time. I was pleased with my daughter's knotless braids,and the time passed quickly for my daughter because Irene let her choose what she wanted to watch on TV for the duration of the styling. 4 hours of My Little Pony, Lawdhammercy.10 stars for Nubian Impressions!
(April 10, 2022, 8:36 pm)I love going to Nubian Impressions. Mrs. Irene is great with my toddler (2.5)! I’m able to get her own hair washed and braided each month. Styles are beautiful, neat and last until her next appointment. Prices are affordable but for someone who can manage a toddler I’ll pay any price! She’s well worth it: professional, affordable and absolutely wonderful!
(September 5, 2020, 11:14 am)I have been to Nubian Impressions for myself, my son and my daughter multiple times. I love Irene very sweet and nice and does a great job. My daughter loves getting her hair done by Irene. The only person she doesn’t cry about getting her hair done with when she gets braids. Great service always.
(September 4, 2020, 10:16 pm)Irene is an excellent braider. I recently had box braids done and I was impressed with how neat it turned out. The braids were done in a timely manner and were gentle on my scalp. If you’re on this side of town and need a professional hairstylist, Irene is the person to call.

I am very particular about who does my hair because previous experiences at other place which left my in pain and unsatisfied. Irene was very professional and very knowledgeable I went to her for box braids and was very pleased when she asked about the sizing of the braids, most people don’t ask. Throughout the whole process she made she sure I was comfortable and offered breaks if necessary. I will be going back to her in the future!
