Finally after a few years in Houston Texas that I love. I got a simple Chicken Chow Mein that was well made. FINALLY!
Last week I got a lamb dish that was also well made.
Yet the fried rice was more like white rice with soy sauce on it IN MY HUMBLE OPINION, Yuk, It looked like brown rice after that non amazingly thought out executed dish of fried rice.
I loved it in NY, the fried rice there and in NYC China Town was somewhat yellow in color, had egg in it, fried, pork, green peas, some green onion and flavor in it. I hope they're successful yet pay attention to detail.
I also asked for the little packets of Mustard, when I took my order.
She said they have that.
I got my order, walked out but decided to walk back in and ask for a few more packets, not knowing there where none in my bag in the first place.
The Hostess opened a draw next to the cash register and found some old plastic panda mustard packs that were brown in color.
They're when fresh yellow in color and she found two and went to the back to find another old one. Other than that the main dishes are 4 stars.
I decided to not go back. I asked when ordering if you have mustard and apparently I was lied too. Then got old mustard packs and who knows how old they were and where they got them, Yuk.
And this place supposedly is under new management.
