Contemporary Endodontics team are life savers!! I had EXCRUCIATING Pain from a molar - Like a freaking spear was stabbing me in the temple and I was on the verge of tears from the pain.
They were able to move up my appointment time to an earlier slot and saved me 2 more days of enduring pain.
Dr. Assad got to work after the assessment. This lady is a rock star. The whole time she was performing the root canal, I just kept thinking... It's like she is doing demolition & construction... but with SUPER tiny tools. She was very meticulous. I had some soreness from keeping my jaw open for 2.5 hours... but hey. Now there is no searing pain making me wish I had an ice skate and a rock to knock my tooth out (Castaway movie reference)

Thank you to the team that got me in, and Dr. Assad for performing microscopic amazing dental work... Now I can get on with my life pain free!

A parting thought.... Who even figured out that you could do this type of surgery in the first place to bring relief from a toothache?? God Bless that person for being born!!!!

My experience with Contemporary Endodontics has been nothing but amazing so far! I have been suffering with a persistent tooth infection for six months. After visiting a dentist at another center who did a very bad job on my root canal, twice - which severely complicated the infection, he finally referred me to Contemporary Endodontics.

Contemporary Endodontics booked me for an appointment on Tuesday afternoon, and then called me back to tell me that an earlier appointment was available - given the urgency of my condition. My first impression was that the center was homely and all the staff were super friendly and professional. Karol and Sarah at the front desk are extremely respectful and helpful, and explained the initial process before being taken in to see Dr. Hira Assad. After I was done filling the information and understanding the process, Maria (Dr. Assad's assistant) brought me in to see Dr. Assad. Maria was great, very respectful and calm and constantly making sure that I was doing well.

Dr. Assad Is amazing, one of the best dentists that I have had the pleasure of knowing, and I know my fair share of dentists. She also went over my medical history in detail, gave me a comprehensive idea of my condition and fully explained my different options and what she planned to do in the treatment plan. After doing a 3-D X-ray, Dr. Assad found that the infected tooth had lost a lot of bone mass, and told me that we needed to proceed with the treatment at the soonest. Given that my Blood Pressure was high, she advised that I return next day. She called another patient who was due at 9 am, and switched my appointment with her - so that I could come in early in the morning.

Next day, I went in early and was brought into the clinic by Maria. She took my blood pressure, another X-ray, and asked me if I would like to watch Netflix during the procedure. I said yes, and she proposed a documentary called 'Ancient Apocalypse', thank you for the great recommendation! Dr. Assad came in and shortly after she started the procedure. Even though the infection was painful, she was very mindful of the amount of anesthetic that she used, because she was worried for my safety, as it could cause complications. I really appreciated that, not many doctors are so humane and diligent in caring for the safety of their patients. During the process, Dr. Assad continuously checked on me to make sure that I was doing well and accommodated to my pain/discomfort when I brought it up.

Dr. Assad cleaned the root canal during the first phase of the treatment, and gave me instructions for what to do next - including medication. At the front desk, Karol gave me a soft copy of my X-ray (which I had requested the day before), wrote out my medical excuse, and scheduled my follow appointment in another 3 weeks.

The infection has subsided since the procedure yesterday, and they had called me from the office today to check on how I was doing - and that I should call anytime if I need anything before my next appointment. How awesome is that!

I am blessed to have found such a wonderful team, and am grateful that I am on track to treat this nightmare of an infection with their help. Thank you to Karol, Sarah, Maria, and definitely to Dr. Assad for all their support. Great environment, highly qualified staff, totally recommended!

Got my root canal here after being referred from Rodeo dental. I got to watch Netflix while receiving my treatment, everyone is very nice, and they made sure I had no pain. I was so nervous when I first went in because you hear so much negative stuff about root canals but it was not so bad at all. They did a great job and my tooth doesn’t hurt now like it did before I went in. They also call the day after the appointment to make sure I’m feeling well and I really appreciate it. Great place to get a root canal and you shouldn’t feel nervous at all because they take good care of you.

I’m glad I chose Contemporary Endodontics , they are true professionals Dr Mann is exceptional, and she did a fantastic job , no pain medication required after root canal. . She was very caring and kept me informed throughout the whole procedure. I’m glad I chose Contemporary Endodontics, Katy location. I would highly recommend them , without a doubt.👌👏👏👏.

I normally don’t leave reviews but this place deserves one. They got me in literally last minute as a referral from my dentist same day. I am terrified of the dl dentist and I drove myself so I couldn’t take anxiety medicine. They were so kind and patient with me, she gave me lots of breaks and didn’t make me feel bad for being nervous. She had to redo an old root canal that was not properly done and she took her time and explained things to me. Although it didn’t make me feel any less nervous she made me as comfortable as she could and I can’t express my appreciation enough.
