(March 5, 2020, 10:00 am)Excellent pot roast, which personally I think is difficult to find in a restaurant. Quiet, bar staff was nice and it was possible to have a semi-private table with comfy chairs. Wide selection of menu choices too. Definitely will be going back. A classy place where you don't have to dress up to get great food.
(February 10, 2020, 12:06 pm)These pancakes are AMAZING. They came out hot and fresh. The coffee cake is crunchy around the edges and it was delicious! The strawberry shortcake is not crunchy. It's a sweet, smooth pancake that comes with a strawberry puree. Both are amazing. Try these pancakes!
(January 27, 2020, 11:03 am)This is my first time visiting the black walnut. I ordered the pot roast and to my surprise it was delightful. the portion size was great I even had enough to take home. Although I've read many other reviews it was quite easy to find a table for the three of us as it was my birthday. My daughter my grandson and myself found a great table indoors. I will be sure to check outmore items on the menu next time. I also had the time to check out some of their sorbets which were absolutely amazing.
(December 11, 2019, 7:30 am)This Black Walnut is a good one. Their staff are professional, courteous and helpful. My friends and I enjoy coming to this Black Walnut when we want to sit for a while and eat and play boardgames. We're never hassled about playing (we don't generally come during a busy time or rush) and are checked on and helped quite regularly.
Coffee is delicious, as is the food!

(281) 251-6900. Tried Black Walnut Cafe for the first time today to check out since we pass by it all the time. When you walk in menus are readily available and you place an order with the cashier. I wish I would have remembered the cashiers name but she was very friendly and helpful.
