Dr Swearengen has been a miracle worker for my wife and I with several major pain issues. He has fixed my back and leg pain completely and we are waiting for the insurance approval on my shoulder. If you need a pain doctor he is , in my opinion, the only one to see.

Dr. Swearengen is THE BEST pain specialist that I’ve have ever had, hands down. I have had several through the years and as we changed cities that we resided in. One of the most important things to me is how he listens, asks questions and listens to your response. No matter how busy his schedule is he always takes time to listen and gets to know you. Both my husband and I are patients of his. I highly recommend Dr Swearengen and his office staff.

Dr Swearingen is very attentive, easy to talk to and extremely helpful in explaining and caring about my pain. His office staff is great too!

I had written a review and while it was factual as far as my experience up to that point, I can confidently say it was a “one off” the exception not the rule, so I don’t feel like it’s fair to leave what my initial experience was because it is not a reflection of this Doctor or his practice. I have been in pain management for 5 (approx) years, I had a botched epidural and subsequent treatments made Arachnoiditis progress. I have had a very hard time finding doctors that will not only treat me, but HEAR me, SEE me and allow me to participate in my care. I have a phenomenal PCP and now I have found a PHENOMENAL Pain Management doctor! Due to some negative experiences with other doctors/office staff I have MAJOR anxiety communicating and it’s also pretty humiliating for me to share some of the things I have to share, once I communicated my experiences and feelings, Dr.Swearingen and his Office (I assume) manager Leslie reached out both went above and beyond to reassure me that they understood and just wanted to help. This was a first for me, I will NEVER forget their kindness, concern and empathy. I HIGHLY recommend Dr.Swearingen and his wonderful staff Leslie and Daharia (I hope I spelled that right). Just writing this review makes me emotional, I am so grateful and feel so blessed to have found them!
