Dr. Mao has been my Children Dr for 19 years. I met him when his office was on S. Gessner. He was on time during my Children's delivery at the hospital and I appreciated that so I continued services. Dr. Mao has a strong personality. He and I stumbled a disagreement when one of his staff forgot to save my appointment and didn't want to take me in. He was very packed at the time and he just couldn't do it. Dr. Mao is close to being a natural/normal Dr. Only means necessary. I've always known him to be calm and serious. He treats common cold with lots of fluid and rest lol. There were moments I've made an appointment and walked out upset thinking I would get medicine. He told me simple things to do that was more helpful than drugging up my children. Whenever there is something serious he use the right measurements, prescribes the right medicine, write the appropriate amount and also make & receive calls on personal matters. He is very traditional and I'm cool with that because my children are healthy.

My son age four and I have been going to Dr. Mao for almost a year. I’m very pleased with his work and that of his staff. They’re a very hard working bunch. I’m especially grateful for our visit today. They took swab samples and didn’t draw blood and with that found out that my son has the flu. We were given our prescription and picked it up at the pharmacy in the same building which meant no more stops for a mommy with her sick little critter. Parking is also validated which is a big plus. Unlike the more expensive doctor offices they do feel a little short staffed so there’s no fluff here of elaborate decorations or hellos and goodbyes. But a great option nonetheless.
