Russo's New York Pizzeria & Italian Kitchen | Midtown

The vibe in Russo’s is so welcoming. I loved the food and the cleanness. My server was Flavio, he was absolutely amazing, knowledgeable and helped me select a few really tasty items from the menu. He kept me and my guests laughing and we are surely going to come back because he was so wonderful. Thank you so much Russo’s for making our experience and pleasant one, now I understand why this restaurant was selected for “The Midtown Magazine” 🤩

Russo’s Pizza Midtown is a hidden gem! I stopped by for their lunch combo, and it was both affordable and delicious. The Caesar salad was so fresh and flavorful, honestly one of the best I’ve had. The pizza and bread were hot, cheesy, and cooked just right.

It’s also a very family-friendly spot. On Sundays, you’ll see families gathered together, and kids eat free, which makes it a perfect weekend outing. Great food, great value, and a welcoming atmosphere—definitely worth checking out!

If you’re in Downtown Houston and craving a slice that hits like home, Russo’s is a must. From the moment you walk in, the warm vibe and clean layout make you feel like you’re stepping into your favorite neighborhood spot. The staff is friendly and fast, and the pizza? Let’s just say it tastes like it was made with love and a New York attitude.

Their crust is perfectly crispy but never too hard, and the sauce is flavorful without overpowering the cheese (which is always bubbling just right). Whether you grab a classic slice or go for one of their specialty pies, you won’t be disappointed.

I love that this spot feels safe, welcoming, and family-friendly while still giving solo diners and couples a chill place to enjoy good food. Russo’s is the kind of place that reminds you why pizza night is always a good idea.
