  My boyfriend and I been regulars here ever since my favorite place Blue Fish House left Houston, and frankly, I don't even miss that old place. Asahi has the most inexpensive sushi, wonderful happy hour (that's almost always going), and they even have my favorite baby octopus! The staff are very nice and for new years, they even gave us a bottle of merlot!! Crazy generous and amazing people! Also great location if you're in the area, and never too loud. Wonderful hits from the 90s and 2000s play and I couldn't be happier! MUST try!

  It’s a little pricey, but totally worth it. I really liked their caterpillar roll and the sky diving roll is pretty good too. Nice friendly atmosphere and fabulous staff.

  Outstanding! We are in Houston for a few weeks and have been here 3 times already. Tried new rolls every time and each time we were very satisfied! We will miss Asahi Sushi!

  I would give 5 stars, but we were seated and the waiter forgot about us, and went to tables that were seated after us. The food is DELICIOUS though. Service is a bit slow, but expected during rush times. I will definitely come here again.

  Arrived at 1:30. Sat down and ordered a lunch special. Salad served within 3 minutes. Food within 10. Finished eating and the bill was already on the way. Received the bill at 1:52 for $8.07 (2 rolls and a drink). 22 minute cycle time from order to bill. Politers, quick service. Sushi chefs (?) yell out when a customer arrives. I've never had a bad meal here or order wrong and it's always fast service at lunch time. # visits in the last 4 years are in the 50-60 range... So maybe once every 4 weeks I come by for a work lunch. 100% fast service, good food rate with 50-60 tries ain't bad. ;). Their prices are so low during lunch special time that I usually tip 20+%. :P
