Amazing soul food. We had shrimp, catfish, meatloaf, Mac & cheese, green beans, red beans, cabbage, & cornbread.

Service was great. We will come back and continue to sample the menu. Next on the list shrimp and grits + oxtail.

My 1st time visiting and it was delicious! The food was worth the wait. We will be back soon.

What I wanted was good fried chicken. What I got was much more. The chicken wings was just the right amount of crispy. Salt and peppered to perfection. Good portions for the price. The greens where seasoned very well and had so much flavor. Nice place. Very basic. Ordered at the counter and the owner was the one who took our order. Family owned place. There was a continuous stream of people coming and picking up as well as sitting in the restaraunt like us. If your in this part of Houston, I highly recommend you go.

Made a 40 min drive and it was well worth it, The inside is nice and clean and you can dine in. Kind of gives you a home feeling, welcoming and warm. I had the catfish and shrimp dinner and the seasoning is really good you don’t need to put anything on it, it’s that good! The Mac & cheese was nice and cheesy. The dressing was a little different then what I am use to but still was good. I had a sample of sweet potato cake and I took a slice home. Give this hidden gem a try💎
