  After researching Pilates teacher training programs, I realized WAP was the place I wanted to pursue my desire to become a Pilates instructor. I loved that the program offered small group instruction in a beautiful learning environment. The instruction was wide-ranging and thorough. I received feedback and support from everyone I reached out to. I observed that each instructor has their own special talent in teaching clients. Over the course of my time there, I also heard from some of the clients how much the instructors had positively changed their lives.

  The instructor program at Washington Avenue Pilates is very informative and productive! The studio atmosphere is open and inviting. The studio owner, Hillary, has a tremendous amount of Pilates experience and is a wealth of information. I highly recommend the certification program to anyone who is interested in learning classical Pilates in a positive, nurturing environment.

  I recently completed the Teacher Training Program with Hilary at Washington Ave Pilates and was extremely impressed with all aspects of the curriculum. Hilary is a fantastic instructor and mentor. The weekend sessions were very informative and well planned. I looked forward to each session every week. Hilary, and the rest of the instructors at the studio, were so helpful and always available to answer any questions I had. I now have a much greater understanding of the fundamentals of Pilates and would recommend this program to anyone!

  Always a pleasure to walk through WAP's doors. Wonderful group of instructors, love the energy there and focused attention to clients. Worth every penny. I didn't know a thing about Pilates and was a little intimidated the first visit . The studio is big, clean, organized, inviting, warm and welcoming ~ a perfect start. Go, it will change your life and make you stronger.

  I was fortunate enough to go through Hilary's Teacher Training Program at Washington Avenue Pilates. Hilary's program taught me so much about the principles and movements of Pilates and about instruction. She was patient, kind, and always willing to help. The studio couldn't be more beautiful and was such a pleasure to learn in. I would recommend the Teacher Training Program to anyone who is interesting in learning more about Pilates or is thinking about a career in Pilates instruction. Washington Avenue Pilates is the best studio in Houston!
