“I recently had the unpleasant experience of making the Final arrangements for a Love one and having dealt with other Funeral Homes in the past my expectations were low. Being in close proximity I randomly choose Lockwood Funeral Home and I am so glad I did. Let me first start off by saying that originally Ms. Geraldine assisted us through the process and got us set up with all the arrangements, costs and such. Upon finalization of everything Mr. Jones the Funeral Director, sat down with us listened to our concerns regarding our Family drama and suggested and adjusted things accordingly as to avoid chaos on the day of the Services. Upon arrival at the Services Mr. Jones had everything from parking to our arrival organized and seamless. Our Loved one looked as they had when they were living, and there was no chaos what so ever. “My wife and I attended a funeral at a country cemetery in early November. The setting and the arrangements struck a chord with us. It was all so serene and comforting. I chatted with the funeral director. We couldn’t have imagined that our son would die just a week later at the age of 43. The prospect of preparing a funeral can be intimidating, and it’s easy to get overwhelmed. I researched and made calls to the more widely known funeral homes. Frankly, the cost of their services was scary. Of course, we wanted a nice service, but looking long term, providing for our son’s widow and four children takes priority. I remembered the Beresford name from speaking with the funeral director the previous week. The Beresford website was very clear, and their prices were so much more reasonable than those cited by the big-name funeral homes. Beresford offered prices we could handle. Chip Beresford met with us that Saturday afternoon. Here’s the best part. There are a lot of little details to consider. The website lists most of them. Chip explained our options for each one. He gave us the pros and cons for each option. He told us about things that are required and let us know if something is not required. The man knows his business. Never once, did he push a choice on us in his favor. Beresford coordinated with us over the coming days. William and Ron handled the church and graveside services. Everyone I spoke to was impressed by their professionalism and cordial demeanor. I told William that I plan to recommend Beresford. It’s been three days since the funeral. I told a coworker today that if he ever finds himself planning a funeral, I have a suggestion. Beresford.”

“My mom was buried at San Jacinto Memorial Park in 2011; however the funeral services were handled by a different funeral home. Recently my dad was diagnosed with Stage 5 Renal Failure and I decided to contact San Jacinto Funeral Home to obtain information about their services and pre-planning packages. An appointment was arranged with Ruben Garcia to meet my schedule. Ruben was extremely professional and very knowledgeable about the entire process. He responded to all of my questions/concerns, he presented all of their services and then allowed me to make my own decisions without any pressure to purchase any additional services/items. He patiently listened to the type of service I wanted for my dad. Ruben even met with me twice on the same day; the second time I brought my sisters so they could assist in the planning process. He explained, to my sisters, the same process he had explained to me earlier in the day; he patiently explained and answered their questions (even without knowing if we were going to use their services). Planning for a funeral is extremely difficult, however Ruben’s patience and compassion made the process much easier. He has even kept in touch asking about the family and my dad’s health.
