This is as close to a dentist office that I actually enjoy going for an appointment...strange but true. “I initially decided to go to a GNC to find a product that I did not know much about other than learning about it online. I was a little bit intimidated to enter GNC because I am NOT what you would consider a supplement/gym type of person. I was greeted by a friendly employee who assured me he would assist me shortly. I was relieved as this would give me time to walk around and pretend to know what I was looking for. I observe him interact with about three customers that were ahead of me in a way that was caring and showed true interest in helping them. He asked each one questions that allowed him to guide them to select products that were perfect for them. It almost felt like he was customizing each customer's purchase. This made me feel comfortable and when it was my turn I just spoke honestly about not really knowing what I needed. He helped me in a non-threatening manner and shared his personal journey to getting healthy. I ended up purchasing two items that I absolutely love and left feeling excited about starting a journey to a healthier me. I am in education and I have already shared my experience with my principal and fellow summer school teachers. I am so glad that I had an experience that made me feel comfortable to return to GNC for future guidance on product selection. Please ask for Shawn if you visit this location.”

“I've been treated by Dr. Bortnem for the past four years. I'm impressed. I've had periodontal disease for decades, so I alternate visits between Dr. Bortnem and a periodontist. The semi-annual deep cleanings I get from Jo at Dr. Bortnem's office are better than those I'd been getting at my Houston periodontist's office. When I broke a tooth, Dr. Bortnem was able to fit me with a permanent crown that he fabricated on-site during that single visit. I'm retired and have no dental insurance, so cost is important to me. Dr. Bortnem isn't "cheap," but I believe I'm getting good value for the dollars spent. His new facility on Rustic Woods is very nice. The staff is friendly and efficient. I'll definitely continue seeing Dr. Bortnem for my routine dental needs.”
