Previously, he had struggled with the pressures of public middle school in Katy, but was able to find his confidence that helped to build his self-esteem with the help of caring teachers and leaders who invested personally in the lives of the students during his summer experience at Excelsior. If we had lived closer to the school, we would have placed our son in the regular academic school year program, but it was not convenient at the time. His experience at Excelsior was a personal one and my son continues to speak highly of the friends he met, the teachers, and of AJ who all demonstrated personal interest in his well-being and academic interests while at the school. I highly recommend Excelsior to anyone who desires a small group and differentiated learning environment.”
