  Outstanding staff and school! We've had both our girls attend School In the Pines for several years. One is currently in the pre-k class with Ms. Debra and we could not ask for a better teacher. She comes home telling us the different phases of the moon to how she learned about shadows to showing us how she can write all her letters. I can tell that already our pre-k child will be more than ready for kindergarten educationally and socially. Every teacher that she has interacted with there has helped her prepare for school-Ms. Annette, Ms. Christy, Ms. Katie and she cannot stop talking about them at home. This speaks volumes to how much she loves it there.
  The entire school staff is super friendly and attentive to your needs as a parent. I love that there is extra programming such as dance and soccer that come to the school. It helps as a working parent to have those opportunities provided.
  The summer program has also been outstanding. My older child loved going last summer to School In the Pines with all the field trips, swimming at the pool and fun educational activities. My younger one had a great time as well with all the fun summer themes and playing with her friends.
  School in the Pines is family owned and I truly feel like my children are part of their family when they go there. I couldn't ask for a better place with staff I trust to take care of my children.

  Wonderful personalized care for all the children at School in the Pines. I love that the ratio is typically 1 teacher for 8 children, compared to the average childcare facility and state requirement of 1 teacher to 17 preschoolers. This allows for greater attention and learning. I have three sons that have been enrolled at School in the Pines. Previously we had a nanny and used chain day care. School in the Pines is great. I love that every day my boys are greeted by all the employees by their names (which started the first week that they were at there). All the staff are engaged and professional. The kids are offered multiple extracurricular activities, such as soccer shots, ballet, and karate. I really appreciate that the curriculum was established by a retired elementary school assistant principal and uses national standards for learning. The location is directly across from the elementary school, so it's extremely convenient and allows for the children to participate in after school activities, since they will pick up the kids after their activity. The staff are outgoing, kind and feel like family. The owners are a husband and wife team who are quick to respond to emails and will also personally call you if there are any problems, like a hurt or sick child. My son in the preschool program has learned a tremendous amount. Prior to having my children attend, I was concerned that the location was small. However, during the summer the children go on multiple field trips, have special guest and utilizes the neighbor pool which is next door. My husband and I are very pleased with School in the Pines. Go visit and talk to Amanda and Joe. You will be certainly glad that you did. Instantly, you will realize this child care facility is run by people who truly care about children and their development.

  A great place to work! All the staff is qualified and kind, and take great care of the children here.
