One of the best hike and bike trail I have visited. Excellent for power walking...running...biking or just moseying along. The dog park is also a great spot for the dogs to hang out
I was really impressed by this place. I like the fact a dead there is a canopy of trees over the walking path. The trails are very long I think about 12 or 13 miles. You can see the river, there are many informative signs explaining the different types of trees. If I'm in Houston again I would certainly be going back to this place for my long walks.
I love this park because of the clean sand where you can take pictures of nature. The creek is very peaceful and you can enjoy a day of wilderness. There is certain dangers such as if it is flooded, currents can be deadly and also wildlife for instance copperheads and coral snakes along with spiders and insects. However, it is worth the trip to this place.
Great park. We've been there many times and have had no problems. There are walking trails. Some people ride their bikes, just watch out for horse waste. There is a small lake. If you go fishing, bring your license (they check). There are turtles that chase the line. There is a dog park. There is plenty of room to stretch your legs.
I love this place! It's great if you're looking for a hike or even just some time away. At first it was hard to find the location, but once you know where it is...its easy. I've not run into anyone while out here. It's a great place to clear your head. It's also a wonderful place to take pictures!
