(January 8, 2019, 12:18 pm)Our favorite dog park! If you park on the Meyer Park side, you will have to walk to the very far back. If you want to walk less, then park behind the Stuebner Airline Veterinary Hospital. There is a dirt path that will take you right to the dog park. I really enjoy this entrance because I don't have to walk through the park with hundreds of squirrels, driving my dogs nuts! There's also a nice pond next to the dog park with a trail and you can walk around that too with your dogs (on leash of course). The dog park for the small dogs and big dogs are great. Sometimes it is really annoying to see dog owners who don't pick up after their dogs because I have one that likes to eat poop! It would be great if people can pick up after their dogs. Also if your dog is over the size limit for the small park, please do not bring your dog in because your dog will scare smaller dogs (the very reason why we have two different parks). I advise you not to go after a heavy rain as the drainage isn't the best, but a day after, it will be great! Plenty of trees, shade, and seating area.
