Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux - Spring Restaurant

So last night I tried out Walk-Ons..I’ll be honest I didn’t have high hopes BUT trust me they delivered!!!

First off I think it’s super cool they have a couple designated parking spots for Veterans. #goArmy 😊

The staff at the door were super sweet and I sat in the bar area. My servers (one was a trainee) Bria & Niah (more than likely spelled wrong..sorry) were very sweet and helpful.

I ordered a drink (high wear smash) it was superb I will order again. For my dinner I had the lemon butter chicken with a side cup of gumbo (because why not). The lemon butter chicken was served with broccoli and corn grits. I was kinda skeptical of the corn grits but they were an excellent pairing with the.chicken. The lemon butter sauce was phenomenal. It added such a nice flavor to the meal and it was strong or harsh but more of a light zing. The gumbo surprisingly was good as well being that I have family that prides itself on fantastic gumbo skills. It had a little too much rice for me but the flavor was there could have been a bit more spicy but all in all I would this entire meal again.

I was there for the experience of their burger and the famous fried alligator and I got the Hickory burger.
Funny fact... the burgers came before the alligator... it looks like the order was forgotten but it came out fast.
Both really good.
Highly recommend.

Excellent restaurant. Quickly greeted and seated by host Diego who was also kind enough to fix our wobbly table. Servers were also very quick and got us drinks and apps within 10 min. Food was also stellar. Really enjoyed the Mango Ahí Tuna Bowl and Alligator Tacos! Remember to order the best and freshest beignets! Would definitely return.

First time experience at Walk-On’s. We were seated promptly and the staff was quick to put in our order. The food we ordered- Cheese Fries, Red fish tacos and Cajundillas was perfectly flavored and loved it. The manager Daniel also walked up to our table and made sure we were taken care of. Amazing staff and friendly environment we will definitely be back here again.
