1) food that is served and kids starving - call Michelle Obama, this was her doing! Call Klein ISD - this is not a one school issue but a national issue!
2) Bullying / Cussing - unfortunately you are blaming the wrong people, this STARTS AT HOME!!! Do not blame the school for what is taught and tolerated at home. The school can only do so much due to rules and laws they must follow!
3) Teachers and principal - there are a few "maybe you shouldn't be teaching kids" kinda people out there but unfortunately again this is everywhere! If you do not get the resolution you are looking for than go higher but dont judge an entire school by a few people.
Any school you go to there will be issues and this is due to the laws that the state and government has put in place. Instead of posting ugliness and complaints, CALL YOUR LOCAL AND STATE REPRESENTATIVES! Complaining will get nothing changed, if you want change that you have to do something about it!
My kids and I love this school and the staff! Sure there have been times when a staff member has not been to friendly or helpful but just like the rest of us they are only human and have bad days. EVERYONE DOES! Before anyone says well they shouldn't be teaching, blah blah blah, remember they are only human. Everyone has their own storms to face outside of their jobs and well as inside, don't judge unless you are in their shoes.
(November 20, 2015, 11:24 pm)This is an amazing school with a faculty that have a vision of learning for their students, both at school and at home. We recently attended an "Academic Night" in October and a "Specials" night in November. In these events, faculty took the time to prepare information and take home packets for each family, full of ideas for families to embrace learning after school. I have appreciated their many efforts and professionalism. I feel like my child is getting a first class education with more benefits than I can name. We love Bernshausen and are so grateful to attend it!
