Had a terrific visit with Dr Copeland! She helped my son with a fracture. He was nervous and her bedside manner calmed him quickly. Dr. Copeland was very knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile to help us understand the treatment needed! Thankful for her time and kindness!

Dr. Copeland and her staff are wonderful! Dr. Copeland has excellent bed side manner and made my 9 year-old daughter feel at ease immediately. The front desk was extremely friendly and helpful by emailing new patient paperwork and accommodating us with an appointment the very next day! Dr. Copeland really cares about her patients and was extremely thorough taking her time to explain and answer all questions. My daughter healed beautifully! I highly recommend Dr. Copeland to family & friends!

Excellent doctor. Genuinely cares about her clients and LOVES what she does. It’s rare to find a doctor that can be personable and explain information in away that makes sense. I’ve torn my ACL and meniscus 4 times playing basketball in HS. Previous doctors were great but meeting Marilyn gave me great insight and confidence on how to keep my knees healthy going forward. Marilyn is reliable and trustworthy. I highly recommend:)

I have been to this office and been a patient of Dr. Copeland's for several years. In the beginning, everyone from the front desk staff to the nurses were very pleasant and helpful. When I came to Dr Copeland back in 2016, I had seen more than 7 doctors, including 4 specialists with UTMB (they each wanted to do different surgeries which I didn't need after all) within a 6 month period, to diagnose an issue with my hand/arm that was causing me extreme pain to the point of tears when doing simple tasks like brushing my hair. When I called to make my appointment, I explained the pain I was in and Dr. Copeland squeezed me on her lunch break. Within just 5 minutes with her, she correctly diagnosed my issue and gave me an injection that reduced the pain almost immediately. Before we left, I had braces which gave me relief while waiting for my surgery and was finally out of the insane pain that I had suffered with for more than 6 months. They were able to get me scheduled for surgery quickly and the whole process was easy, from pre-surgery to post-surgery follow-up appointment. Dr. Copeland was the first doctor in more than 6 months that gave me hope and relief. I truly believe that I could have suffered for many more months or even years and probably had unnecessary surgeries. I will forever be grateful for Dr. Copeland, her expertise and especially her superb bed side manner.

Since then, I have been back several times for other issues and while the demeanor of the staff has changed to not so friendly or helpful, Dr. Copeland has never changed and I have always left very satisfied with the care and service I have received from Dr. Copeland.

While some of the staff at this location can be rather rude, Dr Copeland has always been very attentive and answered any and all questions I have had in a manner that I could understand fully what was going on. I would highly suggest using Dr. Marilyn Copeland for all your orthopedic needs, especially surgery.
