Kenneth, the Courtesy Bus Driver, was fantastic picking us up at the airport and loaded all our luggage with a big smile on his face. I pulled into the rental car return lane in my minivan packed full of kids and luggage, and in the pouring rain, and instead of making us unload and take the shuttle, an Avis employee hopped in the driver's seat, and drove us in the minivan to departures!! “Rented from Hobby Airport location in Houston. Very friendly staff, good selection of vehicles, and fast service. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is the location has no provision for if you are being dropped off by a friend. There is no entry marked for "pickup", and no place to park. The only entry is marked as "rental car return", so very confusing for dropping someone off. Otherwise, very good company.”

“This location is off-airport but literally a four minute shuttle ride to their facility. Despite the other reviews I have read, the staff were very friendly and got me in the car and on my way in a matter of five minutes...and with a bottle of water to boot. The car was clean and waiting at the front door after I checked in. The return process was seamless but a little crazy as they direct you to lines of other cars recently returned. This location clearly rents a LOT of cars! The shuttle stop to return to the airport is nearby and the shuttles constantly run. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely rent from Alamo at Hobby again in the future.”
